Cognitive Psychology & Design
An inquiry into adaptive therapeutic environment.
‘Psychosocial hermeneutics’ is the study of interpretation of human psychology in a socially advanced environment.
The relation of word ‘Psychosocial’ directly emerges from one’s psychological development in and interaction with the social environment. ‘Hermeneutics’ refers to the art of understanding and the theory of interpreting this psychology.
Objects and spaces capable of performing an array of pragmatic functions fall under the shadow of process oriented guide adopted as interactive design.
Play and interaction are pursuits that help in manipulation of objects and collaboration within the designated area.
Observation and interaction are at the core of understanding an individual’s perception of their surroundings.

Portfolio of Work
These projects are based on the concept of interactive design as a user-focused discipline that combines elements of design, usability, and technology to create engaging, efficient, and user-friendly analog and digital interfaces experiences. They play a crucial role in shaping the way people interact with and experience art, products and services in today's interconnected world.
I did a lot of customisations for these projects in response to the unique requirements. I also had to balance working on multiple tasks simultaneously, while adapting to changing priorities and deadlines. This experience really made me realise how powerful it feels to bring a specific skillset to a project as a professional in my field.
INTERACTIVE LOOM

RMIT Creative x Slow Art Collective.

Designed a collaborative creative project in co-ordination with the internationally acclaimed artists from Slow Art Collective.
The project was created based on the concept of interactive architecture involving the public with the built environment, using sustainable materials to promote sustainability in Architecture and Construction Industries.

The research enhances the notion of cognitive interaction in accordance with playfulness of spatial behaviour and encourages active participation in the project.
Observation and interaction are at the core of understanding an individual’s perception of their surroundings. Combining these aspects with the idea of argumentative interactive play can direct us to comprehend better architecturally designed spaces. Properties of chocolate as a material help to enlighten users senses, support the processes of looping and create the interaction.
This project encourages the consideration of the process of construction and deconstruction of a modular structure permitting us to apprehend the significant use of modules in design and capture the benefits of a resumable loop process.

PARAMETRIC DESIGNS

Unlike traditional design methods that rely on fixed blueprints or drawings, parametric design uses a set of parameters and rules to create dynamic, responsive designs. These parameters can encompass variables such as size, shape, material properties, and environmental factors. By adjusting these parameters, designers can explore a vast array of design possibilities and rapidly iterate on their concepts.
Parametric design not only enhances the efficiency of the design process but also opens up new frontiers for innovative and sustainable solutions in the ever-evolving world of design and technology.
THE BLACK BOX
Perfect Execution
If we view the history of art from a distant vantage, so that we consider a succession of movements and eras or circumstance of creation, that history is just exactly a history of style change. Comprising explorations of the rich material nature of space and complex mental process which is adaptable to change; the Black Box project seeks to draw your attention to the relevance of the particularities of spaces and psychosocial reaction of people to them, ultimately to enrich the human experience within the designed space.
TENSEGRITY
A Real Success
Tensegrity structures are characterized by a network of rods or struts that are connected by a series of tensioned cables or wires. These structures maintain their shape and stability through the distribution of forces in a way that is unique and often visually striking.
The concept of tensegrity was popularized by the visionary architect and inventor Buckminster Fuller. He explored tensegrity structures extensively and believed that they could revolutionise architecture and engineering by providing lightweight, efficient, and adaptable designs.
Tensegrity is a fascinating concept that challenges traditional notions of structural engineering and design.
